Great toy!
Charged it, set it up 13”, turned it on and my cat immediately started to chase the light! It’s so easy and fun to watch my cat play. it’s so convenient, does all the work so will keep him entertained when I’m not home. It’s a great value and I would recommend this laser toy. As long as you place it the recommended height, the cat has no idea where the light is coming from so will not disturb it! Another reason I love this toy, no batteries required! Just charge it when needed!

Great cat toy. I would highly recommend it.
I’m enjoying this cat toy. My cats love it and take turns chasing the light. They are getting exercise, and entertainment and I can crochet in peace. One of the cats noticed the movement of the machine. Knows where the red dot is coming from and wants to attack the machine but I discouraged that. A good investment as bored cats can cause mischief. The price is reasonable and it shuts itself off and automatically goes to standby and comes on when triggered by the cats movement. I would recommend this toy. Arrived quickly and in good condition.

Cats love it. They get busy
The charge on this runs fast. I charge it almost everyday but my cats love it. It entertains them. Turns off on its own to save battery and then turns on after 15 to 30 minutes I believe. I just hate the duration. It stays on for 3 to 4 minutes max

I can’t toy your cat will actually play with for more than an hour
This is a great cat toy. I spent so much money on toys that but they only liked for an hour or two but she’s been playing this for over a week now. It is random and fast or slow. The size is really small but that works great. It seems like it’s built well works well. It does need to be charged every night as it goes off every two hours during the day. I definitely recommend this cat toy

Does your cat seem to dislike anything new you bring into THEIR home?Does your cat give you looks of disdain when you try to interest them in playing with their most favorite toy – the same toy they play with constantly when they don’t know you can see them on the cat cam?That was the state of affairs at our house before I ordered the YVE LIFE interactive laser cat toy.As I prepared to open the recently arrived Amazon shipment, our always curious juvenile male, Jet, made it a point to insert himself in the middle of the box. When I pulled the cat toy from its packaging, he gave it a casual and dismissive glance, returning to the top of his cat condo from which he could “guard” the room from whatever he perceived to be unwelcome or otherwise an affront to his feline sense of territory.Dutifully, I plugged the almost autonomous cat toy in for its first charge at our house and true to its included instructions, it was fully charged and ready to go in short order. The toy itself can be placed almost anywhere and its adjustable head can be set for maximum feline fun.The device itself is shaped roughly like that of a sitting black and white cat, complete with cat shaped ears on its rotating head. It seems to be a well built device and appears suited to survival in a house with roving felines. The toy is a bit on the top heavy side due to the hollow nature of its supporting base. Even so, It’s not easily toppled unless you are like me and prone to knocking things off counters or living room furniture. I will say that it showed no signs of damage even after I managed to knock it off the table where I had placed it when first unboxed.Jet was still at the top of his perch when I encouraged the new toy to life with a touch of the button atop of the toy’s head.Jet only feigned a slight interest as cats often do but as soon as the toy’s head rotated in animation, his focus became laser like and his interest grew and grew. The laser now activated, its unmistakable red targeting dot fell onto the rug far below. There it hesitated briefly, captivating, dare I say daunting, its feline predator while luring him down from his lofty perch. Jet placed his body into crouch position and readied for a full power launch, effortlessly springing from the cat condo and landing with a thud, the dot miraculously escaping the pounce at the last possible second, emerging behind its stalker and continuing its playful taunt.The logic mechanism behind this laser toy provides random experiences for your pet and this runtime capability will help prevent boredom.Its three modes of operation ensure that your pet has a fun experience. Its fast mode of play is all but guaranteed to make you, the human, howl with laughter. It certainly did me!I laughed until I cried as Jet chased the laser projected dot around the small little space, wondering what Jet was thinking of this game in his place.Jet was captivated and intrigued with his new found friend. He had a blast running up, down, and all around. After 15 minutes of full speed fun and hunting concentration, his mental and physical workouts were complete as the smart little toy placed itself into sleep mode for its standard two hour nap, resting for a future play session with Jet or our other usually uninterested feline, his mother, Hunter, an ill fitting name for the long haired beauty she is.Jet quickly learned that humans can bring his new toy to life at will and several times each day I find him alternating looks between the toy and me, adding a persistent meow to his demand for more play.More often than not, I give in.As a cat parent, I can only hope that this video game doesn’t “rot his brain” as my parents were convinced computer games would mine!This cat toy was a fantastic find. It operates silently but sometimes I wish it had a video game-like musical score to accompany the antics of play, but let’s be honest, our cats don’t need the music, that’s strictly for us humans. Keeps Cat Occupied
My cat literally begs for the manual cheap laser light I have. She knows where it is kept and meows by the drawer. She also gets bored easily and chews things. Cats will chew if they aren’t stimulated enough. I can’t play with her all the time, so I bought this to keep her busy. It definitely does the job!She loved this right out of the box. She chases the light on any of the modes. The random light is truly random…going up and down and side to side. She looks for it when it disappears behind her or goes on furniture and she can’t see it. I live in an apartment and space is limited, but it works fine for us. She isn’t the type to go crazy and chase it up a wall or on furniture. Some cats may and that should be considered when buying this.My cat is entertained by this and it tires her out. She no longer gets into things she isn’t supposed to out of boredom and no longer chews things.My only complaint is the the motion activation doesn’t work. I have tried on all modes. I do wonder if that might be too much anyways because I walk past it a lot and she may get bored of the light if it is always coming on.It does activate every two hours and runs for 15 minutes and that is sufficient.I do wish it had a remote, but I just keep it on at all times and wait for it to come back on and that seems to be enough.The charge only lasts about a day. She plays with it at night and I charge it during the day.If your cat likes the little manual laser lights, likes to chew things they shouldn’t, or gets bored easily, I highly recommend this.

Keeps two 10 plus year old cats active
With the toy set in the mixed mode setting, both cats are staying active chasing the laser dot.The dual direct drive motors are quiet. When activated, I cannot hear it throughout the night. It’s motion-activated sensor works when the pets are in proximity to the device. The toy certainly does stay on for 15 minutes and does power down to conserve the battery. This feature also helps with preventing the cats from getting bored with it.The laser dot is not as bright as a pointer, so it might not work in an environment with lots of windows and sunshine. At night, it is nice and bright.

I was surprised to find this – and so grateful for it. My 1 year old cats wanted me to play for an hour + each night with a laser, but we lost the laser, and so I went searching for other toys that they could play with, without needing me. They love this laser toy – which looks like a security camera and is easy to recharge, easy to use, and I get to enjoy watching them without my hands cramping. Really great find – I recommend. And it’s nice – I can either turn it on for the cats, or it will turn due to sensing motion

My Cat loves this!!! Even if he’s tired from chasing the dot, he watches intently. So much fun! It cost $40 so I was hesitant, but this particular model is super fantastic. Different speed settings, sleep after 15 min the starts again in 2 hrs, holds a charge a long time, is easy on the eyes! Don’t be fooled by the models that you have to manually move, because this one does it all. Im very impressed!
