Disappointed – Sooooo SLOWWWWWW. Sucks
I have been playing video games for 40 years, always from a desktop computer. My experience with this dedicated system was surprisingly disappointing !?!?!?This was my first time using a dedicated gaming machine and I’m already thinking about sending it back.I was hoping for instant on gaming, but no, it just doesn’t work that way. It’s slower than my desktop computer and frankly, I hate the controllers.I have invested hours trying to figure out the various uses of the game controller, which is so much harder to use than a standard computer keyboard and mouse. And it is just so slow starting up. I have ultra high speed Google fiber ISP service and X box is still slow to download games. Worse still, they are a lot more expensive than I ever imagined. How is that not an issue? After my initial power up, it took 30 minutes to register a new account and update just the X box. Then, another 30 minutes to sign-up for the monthly service ($20/mo) and download my game. The video experience was not much better than my computer screen and much darker, overall. I had to jack with countless settings to get a decent image on my brand new TV (OLED, 120 Hz, 4K, 40″).Really disappointed. These FPS games are just not any better than they were 20 years ago and that’s really sad.I also have no interest in the on-line games or chat rooms.

Perfect
X box came just as described! The exterior box was damaged but the console itself was untouched. It functions well, has a lot of storage, everything downloads and loads extremely fast compared to our old consoles! Definitely worth the money!

Fast shipping
The shipping was really fast, the box looked like it had been tossed around by fedex quite a bit but product was in good shape.

Seems to happen a lot to customers
The unit looked pretty when I opened up the box. Hooked up the wires and the power supply, and I thought I was off to the races. But soon it was discovered that the system needed an update, which was not a problem. As I tried to update the system through the first time with Wi-Fi, the second time threw an ethernet hook up, and the final time was with a thumb drive, which I downloaded all the new updates and plugged it into the Xbox X this is where the problem starts and ends. System would not take an update and kept throwing the same code. I tried this for almost an entire day and I could not get this Xbox to accept the update nor run as a normal gaming system. My advice is to find either a manufacturer or company that has good reviews, which I thought this one did. Unfortunately, when I started having the problems with my Xbox, I started scanning through his reviews and this problem is popped up several times With other buyers. My advice is to buy a brand new system and forget about refurbished.Forrest
