   Great Console, Superb Customer Service!!
   The console is every bit of awesome as it is described! Unfortunately, a few months after my purchase I experienced hard drive issues and none of the games were appearing. I reached out to their customer support and they quickly assisted in troubleshooting my issue. Ultimately they sent me a new hard drive which fixed my problem!!! What great customer service! 😊

   Kinhank X5 Pro- best retro emulator so far!
   Really like this machine, but it’s not perfect right out of the box.If you spend time getting familiar, it will go a long way…. The set up/ menus/ options are extensive, and support while not impossible to find, is not what you will get from Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft.I’ve had a great experience so far with it and I would recommend it so long as you are prepared to do independent research and join some forums, message boards, or Facebook groups to pose questions when need be.Look, you can just take it out of the box and play right away with minimal setup, but you’ll get the most from your money, as well as a better experience if you go all out to make this what you really want it to be.All the systems from back in the day are here- Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, Sega CD, SNES, Turbo Grafx, PS1, Saturn, Dreamcast, etc. all play well and have plenty of titles. I was worried some of the better games for each system would be left out- but they are here! Even if you are thinking of a hidden gem game, that was less than popular among other gamers … but a game you loved… it’s probably here- no kidding.To give an example… I loved this game for the Genesis called “Haunting starring Polterguy” but it was not a well known/ popular game… but it’s here!The controller included is just ok, but most USB controllers work, and Bluetooth controllers work as well such as PS3/4/5 controllers or any other type that use a USB dongle could be used as well. I’m using an original Xbox 360 wireless controller with a Microsoft PC dongle and it works great.There are some systems included you most likely won’t be familiar with, or care even about- I personally deleted some of these to make room on the HDD the use to included “Scrapper” software, which enables you to download pics of the physical media, game art, demo videos (which play as you scroll game to game), fan art, and in a lot of cases even a digital version of the games original manual… per game. It’s a really cool experience to scroll through and look at, read about when the game was originally released and have a basic description of each game, and a short demo video of each one.Overall I’m really enjoying the X5 Pro, and I’d recommend it for anyone who enjoys retro gaming with a highly customizable interface.

   Not designed with multiplayer play in mind. Extremely buggy system
   I was hesitant to buy an emulator console because I didn’t want to spend a lot of time with config files and mapping controllers and messing around with roms. One thing that encouraged me to buy this console was a review / product walkthrough on youtube in which the reviewer said this system was extremely easy to use. Just plug it in, and you’re off.I CANNOT overstate how much that was NOT my experience.I have had endless problems with this console. The controller did NOT automatically map to the systems I was trying to play. There are absolutely no instructions. The menus are not intuitive. Their website says they support most controllers, but even controllers they supposedly support haven’t worked. I’ve done multiple factory resets. I’ve tried contacting customer support (note *TRIED*. They never responded). It has been a very bad system. Without exaggerating, it was probably a MONTH before I managed to get a single game working in multiplayer mode.Chat GPT has helped me get it limping along. It still only works for a handful of games. I still have not gotten three or four players to work in ANY game.Overall one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made. I strongly recommend not using this system.Final note: to be fair, I think many of my problems have come from trying to use multiple controllers. I think if you want to play single player, and if you only use the controller that comes with the system, you’ll have a better experience than I’ve had. It really struggles with multiple controllers.

   Awesome all in one retro game console
   This comes preloaded with thousands of retro games. Anything you can imagine being retro it most likely has it. I was a bit disappointed though one game i was looking forward towards was jet lees rise to honor and did not find but i found hundreds of others that are almost perfect or better quality to play. This console pays for itself when it comes to the game catalog. Simply put excellence and its the best retro console you can buy highly recommend if your tired of paying new generation console prices and just want to go back to when gaming was good.

   Beware the provided power adapter may fail
   I enjoyed the console when it was running. Had it running and left the room for 20 minutes, came back and it had no power. It’s plugged into a power strip that has surge protection.I found a suitable power adapter for it and now powers on. Frustrating experience.

   Not quite plug & play, and NOT perfect
   For what you get that works right out the gate, this is a great value. There are issues tho…My first issue, is most of the games & systems work just fine, but there are a few that I can’t figure out how to either map the controller or just don’t work altogether (like the Turbografx 16 CD, which hurts me as a PC Engine/TG-16 fan.) I cannot figure out how to get the insert coin button mapped for ANY of the arcade games, i.e. NAOMI, CPS 1, 2 &3, or MAME. The entirety of the PS2 library needs complete button remapping, and the XBOX and Gamecube collections don’t even load up.PS1, Dreamcast, N-64, PSP, Saturn, as well as the classic systems (like NES, Genesis, etc…) work great.Although the picture quality it great, there are filters and smoothing you may want to turn off, if you’re a Retro purist like myself. A MAJOR downside is that you will have to crank the volume up to max decibels in the Super Console’s settings to barely hear it on regular volume on whatever TV/Monitor you plug it in.

   Got this yesterday first impressions were great started playing a few games only to notice the graphics wasn’t right in some areas of the game the graphics took on a neon look and you could hardly see to play then this morning i started up the console and all the games are running slow visually and the audio was running slow too making the games unplayable on paper it looks great with a lot of games but practically you can’t play the games so it’s useless.

    Garbage device…….PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, Wii……..etc systems don’t work……..Please avoid at all cost (like the plague)
