Just got my new Hisense 55-inch Canvas TV, and I’m seriously impressed. The picture quality is crisp, colors are vivid, and the sound is surprisingly rich without needing a soundbar. Awesome TV.Setup was not hard! Works very well. I love the user interface, the software and the remote.It’s awesome how it comes with art already on the TV. It looks amazing. I replaced artwork with this above a fireplace and it does not disappoint.I also love how it came with the frame or bezel. Another similar TV I bought we had to buy the bezel which added hundreds of dollars to the cost.Picture quality is amazing. No lags. Connected to WiFi easily even though I was concerned with the distance.Good value here for the price.

Excellent TV for the price. The frame looks nice, remote is quality, surprisingly good sound from tv itself. Art mode is cool and the picture adjusts to reflect a more realistic canvas appearance. Very pleased.

Perfect Canvas TV!
I’ve had the 75” CanvasTV for about 3 months now. It is by far my favorite TV I’ve ever had or even that I’ve seen anyone have!Color:The colors on the screen are very vibrant when using it to watch shows or to play video games (which is my primary use). It’s HDR compatible so everything looks very crisp and vibrant when needed, and accurately dark when appropriate. When it’s in the art/canvas mode, the screen looks matte like a real painting, which was one of the biggest draws for me to this style of TV. Was very impressed when I saw it in person after setting it up.Latency:Again, I use this mostly to play video games on my PS5. The TV supports 144hz refresh reset, and the PS5 is compatible for up to 120 if I’m not mistaken. All the games I’ve played so far had no noticeable lag or input delay, so this TV scores perfect marks in this area!Functionality and features:This TV is very neat. There are a ton of features and customization options to enhance your experience for whatever you are using the TV for. There are game modes, frame rate fill ins (to make videos look smoother) and more to suit your needs. When in the canvas mode, there are hundreds of art pieces or photos that you can choose from and favorite to see more often. You can also add your own photos if you want a more personal touch.Conclusion:All in all, this TV has been amazing to play around with and to use and is way more than worth picking up. If it’s been on your mind to check out a canvas-style TV, this one should be at the top of your list to look at.

Great tv but not great with the art
Picture’s very good. Sound is ok but I don’t expect much. The supplied frame is decent, certainly better than black plastic. Mounting is straightforward.My issue with this tv is that it does not wake up consistently / reliably. What can be done about that? Unless it is showing art anytime someone is in the room, it is falling short of the concept’s promise.

It’s a great, big TV.
I bought the 85″ and have been very impressed with this TV. I agree with comments about the picture quality, both for TV and for art mode. FWIW, at normal brightness, it’s obvious that the “art” is on a screen. But if you turn the brightness down in art mode, it looks much more realistic.I was also pleased to see that there are hundreds of art options available. It may take time for them to load onto your TV after you set it up. I would guess hundreds were added to our library over the first night.Unpacking and setup weren’t that bad, but it did take me a couple of hours. You will definitely need more than one person to hang this TV on the wall. The most tedious part was hanging and leveling the wall brackets. There is a template in the packaging that is very helpful.As far as things that could be better, I’d start with the sound. I’ve read several reviews praising the sound quality, but I don’t find it that impressive. Voices sound muffled and music doesn’t seem to have much depth. It feels like I’m listening to music on a giant phone. I will probably buy additional audio equipment to pair with the TV.Also, this beast of a TV (around 108 lbs) hangs on two wall brackets. The instructions clearly call for anchoring 4 lag bolts on each plate into solid studs or masonry (no drywall anchors!). The instructions further acknowledge that standard stud spacing is 16″ to 18″. But the plates are 12″ wide. So, unless you’re fortunate enough to have tighter stud spacing, you’ll only be able to anchor two of the four lag bolts into a stud. It would be great if they’d either make one large plate or make both plates long enough that you actually have a chance at landing all the bolts on a stud. As it is, I’d have to cut my wall open to add extra studs.Finally, it would be nice if there was a way to search through the artwork for artists or by the name of a particular work. Currently, the art that comes with the TV is classified into four categories (landscapes, modern, still life, and other) and it takes a lot of time to scroll through the options.Overall, I’m happy with this TV. The picture quality is awesome, but the 85″ is huge. In hindsight, I kind of wish I would have gotten the 75″. It’s in a really big room, but I don’t think the extra width (9 inches) has made that much of a difference in the viewing experience, especially for the difference in cost ($600 as I write this).

55 inch great overall in living room
Great overall. So happy with the picture quality, look of the frame of 55 inch. Looks pretty with candles at each side on the mantle. Like the remote. The art feature is so nice. Can pick favorites and add your own photos. Recommend it.

The picture is fabulous, especially in the art mode (the oils especially look 3D, to the point I want to reach out and touch the “ridges” in the “paint”). We made a list of Favorites that rotates through every 5 minutes so we have time to look at a picture, but still get a variety. Unlike the Samsung Frame, there is plenty of artwork to choose from for free. I haven’t tried uploading any personal photos yet.The matte screen makes a HUGE difference with glare, although when there is full sun from the south and west windows it is still better to pull a blind. (The photo was taken in full sun with only a sheer blind over the window, and the brightness turned up to about 20)I thought I may need to purchase a sound bar, but the speakers are beyond what we need for living room use. Between that and using WiFi for streaming, I am very happy to be able to mount this like a picture and have NO wires running from behind. Even with the 90 degree plug and flat mount, it still pushed out an extra inch or so from the wall so we did purchase a recessed outlet to get it completely flush with the wall. Overall we are very happy with this Canvas TV!
