fastest moving relationship EVER!
I get there is only so much you can write in a short story thatâs less than 75 pages. This one was okay, it just seemed a bit forced to me. The relationship went from strangers to lovers and saying they wanted to spend forever together in the span of 35 pages. It was cute, but just too rushed for me.I did love how Luke took too her son and cared for him. And despite the quick moving story line, i did really appreciate the epilogue! Itâs great for a quick fun read.

Luke & Evie
Super cute novella! Sheâs a single mom and a business owner and heâs a tall, country man working on a farm. 𥵠Itâs short and quick but the spice sure is good!

Spicy Texas Christmas!
There is nothing I love more than when the second book in a series hits as hard as the first, and that includes novellas! This was so much fun and so unbelievably spicy!!! Like I thought the first one was pretty hot, but the spice was definitely SPICING in this one!!𥵠I love it hereð¤This was my first Tessa Bailey book and I must say my only complaint was that this book wasnât longer!ð I could definitely see a full length book between Evie and Luke. In fact, I demand it so get on that Miss Baileyðââï¸I do look forward to reading more of Tessa Baileyâs books after this one though!Sooo yeah. Thatâs all I got for yall on this oneðOh! Anybody on here watch 9-1-1 Lone Star? Cause Luke Ward was ALLLLL Judd Ryder and yall can argue with the wall on that oneðð¤ð

Smut At Christmas Time
My first time ever reading a book by this author and well let’s just say it was a wild ride! This book is the second in the series of the under the mistletoe collection! While the first story was definitely a Christmas love story this one was more of smut at Christmas time! While I feel Evie and Luke had such a beautiful end in this story the story line fell short for me with no real back story to the characters just a few details here and there. While I did enjoy the smut ( I been a nasty girl) I definitely wish ther was more to this book than that.Overall it was a fun, fast paced read!

If you look close enoughâ¦
Like squint your eyes, blink fast, and focus your vision, flipyour hair, snap your fingers, youâll find a plot in here somewhere ð deep into the caverns of the pages ð¤£. But for the rest of us that donât have the time for a deep dive into the plot, this was a ð¥ fest that I was promised ðð», and IT. DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT ð®âð¨ð¥µð« .Single-mother Evie (no age given, but maybe like early twenties?) works at a thrift store (while her sweet baby boy sleeps next to her in the store) and this huge, bigger-than-life farmer always comes in trying to find pants to fit his huge frame (huge in sooooo many ways ð®âð¨ but anywaysssssss ð), and he never can ð¬. In fact, in this attempt, he rips the pants he tried onð¤£ð . Evie volunteers to make him some since she can sow and make clothes, but he declines ð .Luke (33) is VERY attracted to Evie. When he finds out she has a kid, he feels terrible thinking heâs been ð¦ about a married woman this whole time ð¬. What he doesnât know is that she ISNâT married; sheâs a single mother, AND sheâs ALSO attracted to him ð. So when she shows up at his place to gift him pants she made for him, he doesnât know what to thinkâ¦And when she admits sheâs single, all bets are off ð cause heâs gonna show her why she is all he could ever want ð.What I liked/lovedâthe ð¥. Uffff does TB deliver ð¥µ. This is no slow burn ð if you want a buildup, you came to the wrong book 𤣠cause this is very fiiiiiilthy ð« and, as usualâ¦âall the diiiiirty talk you can imagine ð. If you think this blue collared farmer is gonna hold back, you have another *think**thing* coming (meh. Iâve seen it used both ways ð¤£). The fiiiilth coming out of this manâs mouth would make the devil do a double takeð®âð¨ð« ð¥µ. Go on Luke with ya bad self ðâsingle mom for the win ðð» paired up with a responsible older brother, and itâs a winning recipe ð âprotective AF â¤ï¸. I love how he tends to her needs, bloody feet where? ð«¶âthe epilogue 𥹠I always love me a good one, especially when itâs a single mom one ð«¶âthe plot ð . I mean. There IS one in there. I promise ðð¤£ð¤£ð¤£ð. We just have to dig around to find it ð¤¡âdoes it fit? ð does it? ðð¤£ð¥What I wanted more of:âlength ð it felt so short ð. The only small thing in this book⦠is the length of it ð¤£Overall, I loooved it

A Swing and a Miss from a Favorite Author
I usually adore Tessa Baileyâs work, but Merry Ever After didnât quite hit the mark for me. The premise of a single mom starting fresh and a sweet, giant farmer had a lot of potential, but the story felt rushed and a bit underdeveloped.Evie and Lukeâs dynamic was sweet, and there were moments of charm, but I couldnât fully connect with their romance. The novella format made the pacing feel uneven, and I was left wanting more depth to their relationship and backstory. While it wasnât my favorite, fans of Tessa Bailey might still enjoy this quick and steamy holiday read. It just didnât resonate with me the way her other works have.

short and sweet
My only âcomplaintâ, if one would consider such a thing, is that I want more! The story is fully developed, we get a feel for who Evie and Luke are as people, and their insta-love (which wasnât all that instant if you consider how long Luke had been coming to the shop just to see Evie) was pretty darn believable.I just want more because Iâm greedy and I love Tessa Baileyâs characters and how she spins a tale.

Esse seria um plot para trabalhar em um grande livro e não em um conto de Natal. Tudo foi muito rápido.

I wasnât a huge fan of this one. I found a lot of the dialogue very cringy. The spice wasnât spicing. I thought the characters were cute though and baby Sonny was probably the best character and he had very little time in the story. I wouldnât read this one again.

It was ok. I think this book just fell a bit flat. It didnât feel Christmassy, and I didnât feel a connection between the two characters Evie and Luke. It felt a bit like Evie was given the role of single mum for the sake of sticking the single mum trope on it. And I know itâs a novella so character development is always going to be limited but I think had I gotten to know them a bit more then I could have enjoyed it. I will say this though, the spice was good!

A short Christmas story, about ingle mum Evie who meets local farmer Luke one Christmas.Even though a short read – I felt the characters had no chemistry
