$7.99
Today is supposed to be the happiest day of my life.
I’m engaged to the man of my dreams, and in a few short hours, I’m going to stand before a judge, who will declare us husband and wife, till death does us part. Despite some bumps in the road, this day is everything I dreamed it would be.
There’s only one problem:
Someone out there doesn’t want me to live long enough to say my vows.
And if I’m not careful, they may very well get their wish.
Note: The Housemaid’s Wedding is a winter-themed short story meant to fill in the long gap between Book 2 of the Housemaid series (The Housemaid’s Secret) and Book 3 (The Housemaid is Watching). It can be read either between Book 2 and Book 3, or after Book 3.

Today, I’m supposed to be on the cusp of the most joyful moment of my life. In a few short hours, I’ll stand before a judge, surrounded by loved ones, and declare my eternal love and commitment to the man who has captured my heart. Despite the challenges we’ve faced, this day is everything I had hoped for.
But, I can’t shake off the feeling that I’m being watched. A nagging sense of unease lingers, and I can’t help but wonder if there’s someone out there who doesn’t want to see me walk down the aisle.
The thought sends shivers down my spine. If I’m not careful, they might just get their way.

Short and sweet
I definitely enjoyed this short and sweet filler book. I did enjoy all 3 housemaid series before reading this one. This is very entertaining in the small amount of pages this book comes with. I love that Freida added that extra details about Millie and Enzo getting married yet still giving you that cringe edgy feeling. I have read 9 well now 10 Freida McFadden books and I have no been disappointed yet.

Good Read
So this may contain some spoilers so read the rest with caution.Overall great read. Short and sweet I shall say. I definitely think this book could have a little more chapters and given us a little more back story to the 718 caller and her parents. I would have like to a chapter on the proposal. Now onto the story itself. Itâs a good story but like I mentioned I would have like more on the 718 caller. I read this in like a hour so you can finish it in one sitting. I love how Enzo continues to defend Millie. I have book 3 and am excited to finish it now that I have this story on their wedding.

Nice and quick
Nice, quick in-between read with a cool twist. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading the housemaid book 3.

Nice Story
Honestly, funny and cute but also very, very Millie and Enzo. I loved their wedding.I also love all the little Easter eggs hidden within this short story for the third book, and the details from the first two hidden within.

Great read
This story is a quick read. In true McFadden fashion, there is action, suspense, and a twist at the end.

Great short story
This one had me turning page after page too. I loved the housemaid series , just wish the wedding was longer or maybe another story is added to make up the space between books two and three. Feel like the space wasnât enough. Feel like itâs still missing time . Kinda ended abruptly, and left me hanging wondering what happens in the eight to nine years between books .

So cute!
Enzo is literally every womanâs dream husband, I love reading when he speaks because I can hear the Italian accent and it makes him that much cuter! This was a perfect little short story to tie up the loose ends between books two and three!

A Fun Addition to the Housemaid Series!
It is finally Millieâs turn to marry. She has found an incredible man, and her day promises to be one of a true celebration! Unfortunately, on her special day, Millie is hounded by someone who wants her dead. This short story is awesome! Millie, of the Housemaid series, is still brave and funny. This book would chronologically fall after the second book, A HOUSEMAIDâS SECRET and before the third, A HOUSEMAID IS WATCHING. However, it doesnât have to be read in order. Like the other full-length novels by Freida McFadden, this shorter one is just as good. I laughed out loud in parts and couldnât put it down.

It keeps the suspense till the end. I love the romance which is integrated. It’s short and keeps us enthralled.

Freida McFadden has once again captured my attention with a short yet powerful narrative. The story is suspenseful, emotional, and makes you reflect on social differences and hidden truths. Despite its brevity, it offers depth and stays with you. Fans of the author will enjoy this one â a perfect quick read for in-between moments.

Wasnât very pleased with this book, I love the housemaid series and have loved following Millieâs journey and was excited for this one. I was disappointed when I heard it takes place before the Housemaid Is Watching book. It was alright and worth a read as itâs a short story but was disappointed by the end. I was expecting much more suspense and plot twists like the other housemaid books but this just wasnât it.

Read this after story three, not between book 2 & 3. It was ok & nice to catch up with them again but itâs only a teaser and doesnât compare to the full book.
