Iâve been working my way through the Under the Mistletoe collection today, doing the audio of each of them while I get chores done. I had never read/listened anything from this author before. I thought the story was well paced, fun, and sweet. I prefer a little more emotional angst and drama in my romance stories but for a quick holiday novella this was fun.

This one was so much fun! It was a kicking my feet and squealing kind of cute and I love that! The FMC was hilarious and her neighbors secretly conspiring to help her and the MMC was the icing on the cakeðMy only complaint was the speed in which they got together. While I understand itâs a novella and meant to be fast-paced, it just didnât seem as realistic for them to have sex once and say âIâm falling for you,â even though theyâve only had a handful of conversations prior to that.And the spice was very spicy but not like SPICING spicy𥴠but still spicy enough to be satisfying!ð« Other than that, I did really enjoy it!

A great end to the series
This final installment in the Under the Mistletoe series was another great addition! Evie works from home as a comic illustrator and is often pressured to really dig in to make her deadlines. This leaves her little social time and definitely not enough time to dig out the holiday decorations for celebration. This has not gone unnoticed! Someone is leaving her cute little ornaments, but it’s not who she thinks it is. (And seriously, this is not a spoiler. If you don’t know who it is from the start, I don’t know what to tell you.) And she is such a sweetheart for wanting to return the favor.She also has a super hottie for an upstairs neighbor, who is all too eager to help her out whenever she is in need. And it feels like some others are also conspiring to help her with her needs.I love it when a geeky girl is able to discover her true inner beauty and can embrace it and get what she really wants. Christmastime is the perfect time to do this. This series ending had me wishing I could do some neighborly baking, too! I would love to have updates in their lives!

This was cute & made me smile. â¨A sweet way to start my December Christmas reading & end this Christmas series.ðWho doesnât love a cute Neighbours-to-lovers, mutual secret crushes & a first kiss under the mistletoe romance. â¤ï¸The story definitely felt fleshed out, even though it was novella. You got enough backstory & character building that each interaction felt realistic.The spice was good! ð¶ï¸The MMC sounds delicious ð®âð¨And overall it was a hit. ðð¼I enjoyed 3/5 of this series, shame a couple of them were absolute duds. It was a good book, I picked it up because I’m a huge fan of ali hazelwood and decided to read the entire collection. The characters feel a bit hollow but since it’s only 60ish pages, that was expected. It’s funny and a sweet story for when you want to tune out your everyday life for an hour and a half.
