    Even Vudu…
My previous TV, a flat-screen gifted to me in 2011, already ready to go, died last week. All of my adult life I have made do with hand-me-down or used TVs/monitors.My dead TV was set up in my office so I could watch TV while working on the computer. I fed the TV with a laptop, via HDMI. I had previously poured a giant glass of ice-water on the laptop so the screen doesn’t work very well, which made it perfect for feeding the TV.I have large VOD libraries on both Prime Video and Vudu, so when looking at the Smart TV options, access to Vudu is important to me. So I originally decided against this TV because it’s an Amazon Fire TV, and my Fire Tablet, (that I use to watch TV/movies in bed), doesn’t allow me to put Vudu on it.But when looking at all of the options, this one was the right size, and it does have HDMI inputs, so I could still feed it with my broken laptop, so it was the obvious choice, with the great sale price.I searched the apps and found that Vudu was an option. I also downloaded Peacock, Paramount+, Movies Anywhere, Tubi, Plex, Crackle, MSNBC, The CW, ABC, NBC, CBS, and YouTube. Signing into to each of them on my computer and using codes worked really well. So the only thing I had to actually type my password into using the remote was my Wifi. It all works great, and switching to the HDMI input is easy, if I ever want or need to do that. Like if I ever want to watch something I only have on DVD or Blu Ray.I will add Disney+, Hulu and Netflix when the WGA writer’s strike is over and I resubscribe to them.I don’t know if my previous TV was HD, but when I’ve visited my parents when they’ve played Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and other things in HD on their HD TV and it has all looked gross. The Battle of Helms Deep was a bunch of amorphous clay blobs, and the Death Star was a bunch of dudes in bad costumes hanging out. I don’t know if that was the motion smoothing thing that Tom Cruise was mad about a few years back, Either way, I’ve seen none of that gross stuff.I’ve watch a little of the new Children of the Corn, several episodes of Stargate Atlantis, a little of Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull and Jurassic Park, and it all looks good. If I look closely I can see what I’m guessing is filmgrain, but the picture is clear.I recently watched an episode of Snoops (1999) that was uploaded to YouTube from probably VHS. There’s a brief scene that features Dick Miller. I posted a screenshot to Twitter, but anyone who looked at that pic has to more or less take my word for it that it is indeed Dick Miller. But on this TV I could make guesses about the shade of lipstick worn by Teyla Emmagan, if I knew anything about lipstick. This is all to let you know my level of knowledge so you can judge how my level of happiness would measure up to your level of happiness. My only other observation in the few hours I’ve had this, is that the TV stands are at the outer edges of the TV. My previous TV had a big center stand, when meant I could perch it fairly near the edge of the table next to my desk, at a 45 degree angle (ish). So with the stands at the edges, I’ve had to push the TV farther back, and put sturdy things under the stands to give the TV better purchase on the table. Which is to say, you really need enough table under the entire TV to support it.I saw a review that said their TV didn’t come with the screws for the stands. Mine did. They were in a separate small bad, the same way the remote batteries were in a separate bag.So far the TV seems absolutely great.

    24 inch Insignia television/ Monitor
Talking about fast delivery, this purchase was made on December 23rd and delivery was in less than 24 hours for free. It was delivered on Christmas eve, less than 24 hours after I ordered it.I have already set it up on Christmas eve, and it works fine .The price was fantastic for a brand new unsealed television/ monitor. It is easily big enough for a bedroom. It’s actually not too too little or big for my particular preference.Remote including new batteries to insert works correctly. It is not a direct channel remote, but for the bargain price and quality I don’t care. It does have direct buttons for certain pay internet services. The picture is 720p which is fine for a screen it’s size. I use my stereo for sound, but I am sure sound would be adequate from the unit itself. There are no issues with the picture panel whatsoever, and the box it shipped in had not the slightest scratches or dents at all. It’s easy to set up and operate. Basically the screen instructions tell you exactly what to do to set everything up out of the box concerning picture preferences. Alot of features for a 24 inch unit.5 stars categorically and 2 thumbs 👍 up from me and me. There is no way I can have the slightest negative comment about it same day as delivery. It is a brand new unit in perfect condition. Very pleased.

    Daughters Christmas present 🎁!
Great budget t.v and love it, this was a gift for my daughter and I live the voice option on the remote. Set up and woks perfect! The vividness of the t v is amazing, exceeded our expectations with how low the prize was. A little hard to get the stand on the t.v. but once you get that, it’s great! Very durable and well made. No damages and packaging was great. The sharpness is fantastic and can be adjusted in settings! We are prime members so with this being a fire t.v. plenty for the kids to watch and also YouTube and other apps are included. Can also download what you want. Great t.v.

    Perfect bedroom or guestroom TV
I’ve had this TV since July, and it’s been exactly what I needed—affordable, functional, and perfect for a bedroom setup. The picture quality is bright and clear, and I haven’t had any issues with the screen so far. It seems perfectly fine, with great color and clarity. The built-in Fire TV makes streaming super easy, and the Alexa voice remote is a nice touch. The sound is decent for a TV in this price range—not super rich, but clear enough for everyday use. If you want a more immersive experience, pairing it with a soundbar might be a good idea. Overall, this TV delivers great value for the price and works exactly as expected!

Good quality, good software, times out too fast
The picture quality of this television is quite good. I didn’t know what to expect with a 760 dpi versus 1040 dpi. This is absolutely great at the 760. One thing that was unexpected is the sound quality. The speakers are wonderful and have some good base as well as treble. My only complaint is that when you put the television on pause on any of the streaming devices or applications on the smart TV, it times out much too fast. I placed it on pause and then walk out of the room for a drink of water or to go to the bathroom, I come back in the television is off, not just on pause. You have to reload whatever it was you were watching. That really bothers me. I can forgive that because of the fact that the picture is so good and I love the smart TV aspect. The remote is basic, but that’s OK with me. I kind of don’t like how many clicks you have to make to enable the cable box in the programming. It seems to work OK with my Cable provider, it’s just takes about 5 to 10 seconds to pull up the cable channels. I love being able to instantly call Netflix and Prime Video from the remote without having to turn the television on and then select it through the list of applications. Television is a nice weight so that I could take delivery of the TV from my porch and place it up on my shelves single-handedly, but it is a nice enough weight to seem stable as long as we don’t have an earthquake! I’m thoroughly happy with this purchase, particularly the price for the quality.
