Solid Enough for My 65-Pound Pooch
This table is like the supporting actor in a good movie. You don’t notice it at first, but without it the whole scene falls flat. I bought it to sit quietly behind the sofa, hold a lamp or two, and maybe give me a spot to drop keys. Instead, it strutted in, took its place, and made the room look like I’d actually thought about design.Assembly? Not bad. The instructions were clear, nothing stripped or snapped, and while it’s a little heavy, that just means it doesn’t have the structural integrity of a popsicle stick. Once together, it felt sturdy enough to trust with lamps, books, or even my 2-year-old, 65-pound German Shepherd/Jack Russell mix, Parker, who thinks barking and surprise jumping are her two Olympic sports.I like that it’s long and narrow, so it does the job without demanding all the attention. The finish lands in that sweet spot of farmhouse-ish without screaming “Fixer Upper audition tape.” And it doesn’t wobble unless you put it together like you’re competing in a speed round of Ikea Olympics.Bottom line: it’s a good-looking, practical table that doesn’t try too hard. Which makes it one of the better things I’ve gotten from Amazon in a while.

Extremely wobbly!
Don’t waste your money. This piece is pretty and the wood is solid (enough), but it’s super wobbly. The instructions were easy, though lots of screws so it took several hours to put together. Despite following the instructions carefully and feeling confident it had been solidly assembled, the console is super flimsy and wobbles from side to side. NOT a decent piece of furniture. I gave it 2 stars because the piece is pretty.
